SHE Casework – Equivocal Death Analysis
SHE Determination – Natural Causes

SHE recommendations to professionals involved in the case – The deceased die of complications of a long-term disease. The family was not fully aware of the symptoms of the disease and therefore believed instead of suffering from natural illness, may have been poisoned over a period of time. Likewise, when the patient suddenly died after being released, the family did not understand the symptoms of the complications of the disease and wondered at his sudden demise. Had the medical staff spent time explaining the symptoms of the disease and the cause of death, these suspicions might never have caused the grieving more suffering.
