Bobby Joe Leonard, a temporary worker, has been identified
as the person Andrea Cincotta gave an old computer to just three weeks
before her death. Mr. Leonard was working on the condo property when
she agreed to give him the old computer and he was admitted into her
apartment and her bedroom in order to take the computer away. Further
information on Mr. Leonard informs us that Leonard was convicted in
Virginia in 2000 for the abduction, rape, and attempted murder of
a thirteen-year-old girl and that he has a very long record of felonies.
In fact, he has spent very little of his adult life outside of prison.
Yet the police have shown very little interest in him as a suspect
in spite of the fact, he is a career criminal, had been in the victim's
apartment in recent weeks, is a burglar, has attempted murder since,
had no alibi, and had left town following the homicide. The police
did not check local pawnshops to see if he had attempted to pawn the
jewelry, have never interviewed his girlfriend, and have never canvassed
the SE neighborhood where the vehicle was ditched. This suspect, a
suspect any other police department would be all over, has been largely
ignored.
The family and this profiler believe Bobby Joe Leonard to be the
best suspect in murder of Andrea Cincotta. We see no reason why the
Arlington Police should not exonerate Chris Johnson and the family
and focus their investigation on Mr. Leonard.
